XH-M604 Charging Control Module
$3.50
In Stock (6 available)
The XH-M604 Charging Control Module is a battery charging controller that is commonly used for automated charging of 12V lead-acid batteries (AGM, GEL, SLA, etc.). It's a small, affordable module that cuts off the charger automatically when the battery is full and resumes charging when the voltage drops.
🔌 Key Features:
- Operating voltage: 12V (typically supports 10V to 15V range)
- Load capacity: Up to 20A relay output (though it's safer to stay under ~10A unless using external relays)
- Display: Digital voltage display (3-digit LED)
- Adjustable cut-off & restart voltages:
- Stop voltage (battery full)
- Start voltage (battery low)
⚙️ Working Principle:
- Connect your 12V power source (like a charger or solar panel) to the input.
- Connect the battery to the output terminals.
- Set voltage thresholds:
- The relay turns off (disconnects charger) when the battery reaches the "stop" voltage.
- The relay turns on (starts charging) when it drops to the "start" voltage.
This avoids overcharging and helps prolong battery life.
🔧 How to Set the Voltages:
- Hold the SET button for a few seconds until the display blinks.
- Press SET briefly to toggle between:
- P0: Stop voltage (battery full)
- P1: Start voltage (battery low)
- Use UP/DOWN buttons to adjust each.
- Hold SET again to save.
🪛 Wiring:
- VCC: Connect to the positive terminal of your 12V charger
- GND: Connect to charger ground
- Relay output: One side to charger’s + output, the other side to battery + terminal
- Battery negative goes to ground directly
✅ Use Cases:
- Solar-powered battery charging
- DIY battery backup systems
- 12V car batteries
- Small 12V UPS systems
